BRMG was founded by Brian Black, who has both owned and operated his own restaurants, giving him hands-on industry knowledge and experience. His collaborative vision is to identify opportunities and tailor his own operational knowledge and expertise to enhance the client's bottom-line profits through a hands-on approach to operations.

In addition to the leadership of Brian, BRMG also brings a unique team of talented and experienced restaurant professionals who each specializes in a specific areas of restaurant operations from menu development to restaurant construction and design to marketing and public relations so that all consulting projects run smoothly from start-to finish.

Meet Brian Black

Brian Black

Exceptional cuisine is in Black's blood. His father, one of the original founders of the Chili's concept, and his mother, a highly-regarded restaurateur, helped inspire and train Black in the culinary arts. At age 24, Black's first wine list for the nationally-acclaimed Mi Piaci Ristorante where he earned extensive recognition in Wine Spectator, Gourmet, Town and Country, and Esquire Magazine. Black went on to become sole owner and operator of Mi Piaci Ristorante in 2004 and served as President of a Dallas-based restaurant consulting company for four years before becoming an Operating Partner at black Restaurant Management Group (BRMG) where he currently presides. Other notable restaurants that Black has owned include Ocho Kitchen + Cocktails, Il Sole Restaurant & Wine Bar and Volte Restaurant.
